Extend your spring forks. Don´t blow your cool, just your mind. Feel fine, don´t wanne be right! You´d better stay in bed, you´d better run. Are we god-damn old ladies?

Steal and inspire. This is where the street action lives. Change your tyre on the way to your place in the sun. It´s a cancelled check. And remember, only a fool breaks his own heart. I like to think i´m hot, when I´m not. You can´t win. I´m a tiger, hungry as a hippy. My hands are shaking. I´m gonna make you scream and cry. But hey, if the suit smells, wear it.

Lennard was born wearing motor boots in Dedemsvaart, the Netherlands in 1979. He now lives in Amsterdam with his skattie patattie. His work consists of drawings, installations, paintings, murals, and illustrations. Lennard Schuurmans is using old techniques to make something new, while zapping through art deco, cartoon network, the golden age of illustration and pop culture he’s creating wild lines, crazy action, smoking free forms, cutting shapes, burning colors, sweating shades of green, shivering silhouettes, floating landslides, dirty explosions, puzzling compositions and depth in flat shapes and...he's a motorcycle junkie. For this exhibition he will be showing new drawings and paintings bassed on his moto addiction so don't forget to bring your motorcycle!
